ADHD & Behavioral Health Support

ADHD is not a character flaw or a lack of willpower — it’s a neurodevelopmental condition that affects focus, impulse control, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. With the right support, you can thrive.

What We Offer

What Is ADHD & How Do We Treat It?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) presents differently in every person — from the child who can’t sit still in class, to the adult who struggles with deadlines, relationships, and self-esteem. At Pendo BHS, we offer comprehensive ADHD assessments and evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

Our approach combines thorough evaluation, medication management where appropriate, and behavioral coaching strategies. We also work with families and, where possible, coordinate with schools and workplaces to build a support system around you.

How It Works

Our Step-by-Step Process

01

ADHD Evaluation

A thorough assessment using clinical interviews, behavioral rating scales, and history review to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other contributing conditions.

02

Psychoeducation

We take time to explain what ADHD is, how it affects your specific brain, and what evidence-based treatment options are available.

03

Treatment Plan

We develop a plan that may include stimulant or non-stimulant medication, behavioral strategies, routine-building, and coordination with therapists or educators.

04

Monitoring & Coaching

Regular follow-ups track medication effectiveness, behavioral progress, and any adjustments needed as life circumstances evolve.

FAQs

Common Questions

Can adults be diagnosed with ADHD?

Absolutely. Many adults were never diagnosed as children. If you’ve struggled your whole life with focus, organization, or impulsivity, it’s worth exploring.

Is medication always required for ADHD?

No. Medication is highly effective for many people, but behavioral strategies, coaching, and environmental modifications can also make a significant difference. We discuss all options.

Do you treat children with ADHD?

Yes. We see children and adolescents for ADHD evaluation and management. We also engage parents and caregivers as key partners in the treatment process.

What if my child’s school needs documentation?

We can provide clinical documentation to support school accommodation requests (504 plans or IEPs) following a formal evaluation.
