Substance Use & Recovery Support
Recovery is not about willpower — it’s about having the right support, the right tools, and the right people in your corner. We provide compassionate, non-judgmental care for individuals navigating substance use challenges.
Our Approach to Substance Use Care
Substance use disorders are complex medical conditions, not moral failures. At Pendo BHS, we approach addiction and recovery with the same compassion and clinical rigor we bring to all our services. We don’t judge. We don’t shame. We help.
Our services span evaluation, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) where appropriate, co-occurring mental health management (dual diagnosis), and recovery planning. We understand that many people struggling with substance use are also managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or ADHD — and we treat the whole person.
Our Step-by-Step Process
Substance Use Evaluation
A comprehensive, non-judgmental assessment of your substance use history, current patterns, triggers, and the impact on your life and health.
Dual Diagnosis Screening
We assess for co-occurring mental health conditions — depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD — that are frequently intertwined with substance use.
Treatment Planning
Your care plan may include MAT (e.g., Suboxone for opioid use disorder), psychiatric medication, therapy coordination, and community resource referrals.
Recovery Support
We provide ongoing check-ins, medication monitoring, relapse-prevention planning, and encouragement throughout your recovery journey.
Conditions We Treat
Common Questions
Will you judge me for my substance use?
Never. We know how much courage it takes to seek help. You’ll be treated with dignity and respect from the first moment.
Do you offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?
Yes. Where clinically appropriate, we offer MAT including buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder. We discuss all options transparently.
What if I’ve relapsed before?
Relapse is a common part of recovery — not a sign of failure. We don’t give up on you, and we won’t make you feel ashamed for setbacks. We simply recalibrate and keep going.
Do you coordinate with rehab programs or therapists?
Yes. We work collaboratively with other providers, including outpatient rehab programs, therapists, and primary care physicians, to ensure you have comprehensive support.
